Pennfield's Penchlor 100 Hi-Flo® is a Type A Medicated Article that
contains 100 grams chlortetracycline as the calcium complex and
calculated as hydrochloride per pound. Chlortetracycline is a broad
spectrum antibiotic cleared for use in livestock and poultry feeds.
Chlortetracycline is used in livestock and poultry to treat disease and
as an aid to increase weight, and improve feed/gain ratio.
Chlortetracycline is effective against strains of both gram-positive
and gram-negative organisms. Chlortetracycline is indicated to increase
the rate of weight gain and improve feed efficiency in cattle, swine,
chickens, turkeys and sheep.
