Poulvac® ST is a modified live bacteria vaccine for the immunization of chickens, as an aid in the reduction of Salmonella
enteritidis, Salmonella heidelberg or Salmonella typhimurium colonization of the internal organs, including the intestines and
ceca. Poulvac ST creates a self-limiting infection that doesn't persist but leaves behind robust immunity to Salmonella serotypes.
This minimizes Salmonella shedding and reduces likelihood that carcass samples will test positive for Salmonella contamination.
Proven advantages under commercial broiler conditions. 2.5x reduction in the percentage of Salmonella positive broiler rinsates at
rehang (16.2% vs. 6.4%). 3x reduction of the recovery of Group B and Group C serotypes. Vaccinated birds also held a feed
conversion advantage.
