Product description: EZ Forage Dry is a forage inoculanttreatment for dry hay to reduce mold and yeast growth. It minimizesspoilage losses that can occur with fluctuating field conditions, suchas yeast spore load in the field, and moisture variability. Allowinghay to be baled at a higher moisture content with less leaf shatterprovides higher nutrient levels.
How the product works: An enzyme package breaks down the complexcarbohydrate into readily available sugars to “fuel” the biologicalprocess. Eight strains of lactic acid bacteria inhibit the growth ofyeasts and molds as the hay goes through the “sweat period.”
