Braided, coated, synthetic, violet, absorbable suture composed of Polyglycolic Acid (PGA), dyed with FDA-approved color additives
and coated with polycaprolactone and calcium stearate. Provides excellent handling, knot security, tensile strength during healing
and predictable absorption. Indicated for use in soft tissue approximation / ligation, including ophthalmic procedures; not for use
in cardiovascular or neurological procedures. Suture elicits minimal inflammatory reaction in tissues, followed by gradual
encapsulation and absorption by hydrolysis. Wound Support: 65% at 14 days. Absorption: 60-90 days.
