The widest cuff that can be placed on the patient, without extending beyond the joint, should be selected. Appropriate sized cuffs
may be selected based on published guidelines that cuff width should be 40 - 60 % of limb circumference. We recommend the use of
the Cardell® cuff selector included with the accessory pack. The cuff should be wrapped for a snug fit. Overlapping the cuff will
not affect measurement results. Make sure the hook and loop sections of the cuff are fully engaged when it is wrapped around the
limb. If not fully engaged, the cuff will detach during bladder inflation. If that happens, select the next size bigger cuff.
Adhesive tape or other material should not be used to secure the cuff. For 8013/8014/8015/8019 series monitor.
